Compared to Fixed Wireless
Unlike ADSL and Cable, many Fixed Wireless services are symmetrical.  Therefore they offer faster Upstream speeds, which are required for businesses deploying Voice over IP.  Faster Upstream speeds are also required by businesses Hosting Applications for remote workers.

Another advantage to Fixed Wireless is the ability to quickly increase bandwidth.  Often with merely a phone call, a business can increase speeds from 2 Mbps to 3 or 4 Mbps.  Or even higher!
 Half vs Full Duplex:

Many Wireless services are Half Duplex.  If you compare (for example) a 2 Mbps Half vs Full Duplex service, the Full Duplex gives 2 Mbps Upstream AND 2 Mbps Downstream.  But a Half Duplex 2 Mbps connection gives you 2 Mbps in total.  This means that if users are surfing the Internet and using 1.5 Mbps Downstream, there is only 500K of Upstream bandwidth.  This can dramatically effect important applications like VoIP.
Reliability is the Achilles Heel of Fixed Wireless.  Wired services like Cooper T1 or Fibre have proven to be much more stable.
